Join us for our latest seasonal beer dinner at Doggett Street on July 24th (formerly known as ‘Dank, Dark & Delicious’) as we challenge food miles and offer up the best produce grown in South East Queensland.
Yeah, look, ‘Dank, Dark & Delicious’ was too much of a mouthful but what will be a mouthful is the contents of the menu we’ve got lined up.
The format is simple: four courses of dark beer paired with the best cuts of meat paired with the tastiest, mouth watering cheese that we can get out hands on. The cheeses have been specifically aged by Wendy from The Cheeseboard (Stafford). Wendy will be co-hosting the evening sharing a slice of her knowledge of cheese and explaining her craft of affinage.
We’re sourcing everything local. The beer comes from under the same roof, the cheese originating from small scale producers in SEQ and the meat coming from the Darling Downs – the very best in its field…literally. Everything else is being sourced from Loop Growers (Samford) and other local producers.
