An alley-oop in basketball is an offensive play in which one player throws the ball near the basket to a teammate who jumps, catches the ball in mid-air and then dunks the ball through the hoop before touching the ground.
The alley-oop combines elements of teamwork, pinpoint passing, timing and finishing.
Our on-going partnership with the Brisbane Bullets is just that!
Together, we’ve landed a pinpoint pass and through teamwork, vision, timing and finish have created, the ‘Ale-y Oop’.
‘Ale-y Oop’ is an approachable, sessionable, mid-strength Australian Pale Ale – full of flavour yet low in alcohol. A slam dunk of a beer that’s an ideal companion when watching the Bullets take on the opposition.
Bullets players Adam Gibson and Jason Cadee lend a hand on canning day.
Both camps are excited to bring this partnership beer to fruition; a real testament to our ongoing relationship and a way of including Bullets’ fans on our journey together.
A limited run of 375ml cans of ‘Ale-y Oop’ will be available at Bullets home games at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) this season with draught beer available at our brewpub on Castlemaine Street, Milton during all Bullets home and away games.
Cheers to that!
